First off, he's more concerned about things than about people. So let's be sure that there's no mistake about that. As a result, he couldn't give a good goddamn that people are paying $6 for a gallon of gas. (Did you ever think you'd live to see that day?)

As for the infrastructure, I imagine that could make a dent in his own financial holdings. Thus the concern. At the same time, I would find it hard to believe that his financial advisors didn't put him into Halliburton and oil field services companies at the start of the war. So, financially at least, he'll come out of this much further ahead than he was at the start.

Let them eat MREs.
