Has Bush actually DONE anything?
I want to be fair. I'm not expecting him to go to New Orleans, put on waders, and hand out food and water to the victims. But has he actually DONE anything?

http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/09/01/bush.katrina/index.html

"Bush tells victims: 'A lot of help coming'"

Please, PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong. I hate Bush as much as anyone here, but I want to be fair. Has Bush fucking done ANYTHING? He's made speeches about how help is coming, but I don't think he's done anything to help!

Congress will reconvene late today or tomorrow to pass a relief package, but why hasn't Bush done anything? Why wasn't he back in Washington as soon as the city started to flood? Why didn't he organize military efforts to preserve life and prevent damage? Why hasn't he been fucking working since the storm hit?

Unless I'm wrong. I don't want to think "our president" is THIS inept and monstrous.

1. He sorta learned a G-chord. Ate birthday cake. Flew over the Grand Canyon
... and then over New Orleans in his personal 747 filled with courtiers. Then he strutted across the lawn and attended meetings and confrences where his cronies shined sunlamps up each other's butts. His concern over gas prices was as evident as his concern over torture -- but the people who're angier over an increase of $1/gallon than over thousands dying in the streets were mollified in flyover Amrika.

3. He's not MY president...
as he does NOT represent me in Washington or to the world.

Having said that, I heard on the news today that the relief efforts were discussed last Friday, before the storm hit. Almost a week later, he's still standing around with his thumb up his ass.

I don't want to think he's this inept, but I'm forced to face reality almost daily. :(
