...there was some other explanation. I think some loud pop may have been misinterpreted as gunshots. Where is the gunman? Where is the weapon? Did anybody SEE someone firing at a helicopter?

These people want OUT!!! It's life and death right now. If you were there, couldn't get out, no one would help, you had little to no food or water in days, and had a gun.... my bet is many would use the gun to get the bus, or boat, or helicopter, or whatever, to stop so they can get out. They have been asking people to help them, but no one is. Its every man for themselves. People in this kind of situation will use anything to service; force if necessary.
