You won't believe what some of the repukes are telling me

These people have come up with every excuse imaginable to defend the Bush administrations' incompetence.

1 - Liberals are causing the looting. Why haven't Clinton and Jessie Jackson gone down there and told those people to behave.

2 - The government has no business furnishing aid to those people. The state and the city should be doing this. I don't want one penny of my tax dollars helping these idiots.

3 - The levees broke because liberals spent all the money on fell good environmental projects.

4 - Clinton didn't do anything about it when he was President. All he cared about was BJs in the Oval Office.

5 - If liberal Democrats had been running the country the past four years, a little flood in New Orleans would be the least of our problems. Saddam and al Qaeda would have killed millions of us in terror attacks.

We need a civil war in this country. I've seen several posts like this today, and it makes me so ill I want to throw up. The selfish Repukes among us need to be purged.

They are not Americans. They don't care about their country or their fellow citizens. They are loyal to one man only: George W. Bush. It's a cult of death. They are too stupid to realize that Bush doesn't care about them either. When Bush says "it's either us or them" they actually believe that they are part of the "us" - but as we have seen these last few days, the "us" only includes the rich. The BushBots are part of the "them" and they're too blind to see it. They'll learn ... the hard way.

It makes no difference how bad things are, they still defend Bushit. What's also sad is that these are Christians, yet they say things like,"We should just nuke the Middle East and kill all the ragheads".
They seem to hate everyone except like-minded individuals who go to church, praise Bush, and vote straight repuke in every election. They claim to worship Christ, yet the follow none of his teachings.

However, when I turned on MSNBC around noon, there was an interview with one of their photojournalists in New Orleans who emphasized that the majority of the people stuck at the Superdome, were actually being very orderly considering their circumstances.

I'm just aghast ('though not surprised) at the lengths CNN and Fox are going to reassure right-wing, white Americans that the real problem down there is "those people." There was even a much repeated shot of a couple of naked, white Barbie dolls, hanging from Mardi Gras beads. WTF?!? They could have turned the camera 15 degrees and seen hungry children sitting on the curb, but instead they focus on an image that will be highly charged for people with a certain mindset.
