I want to see a major caravan led by Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton,

and some other well-known African-Americans on its way to NO, MS, and AL. Why haven't we heard from a group of African-Americans who are among the "haves?"

and "hijacking the tragedy" for their own agendas, etc etc. They can't win either way.

I'm just curious... what makes you think they can get in?

I'm in a hurricane zone. When we evacuate, we can't get in until the area is secured. Even when we're allowed in, non-residents are generally kept out.

If the treatment of Katrina's victims isn't racism, I don't know what is. Let them be accused of playing politics ... who cares? If trying to get help for people and draw attention to a major catastrophe that was made worse but unfeeling, incompetent leaders is playing politics, then I say let's play! :grr:
