FEMA Michael Brown still using the word"choice"
He said he doesn't understand why when there was a mandatory eveacution why so many people made the CHOICE to stay. Fucker! For many there was no choice, there was no alternative. Blitzer should have called him on that!

4. That's one of the memes . . .
they will use as excuses. The questions should be, in answer:

Was there house-to-house evacuations in neighborhoods to assist those unable to leave?

Was there transportation available so they could flee to safety?

I am so sick of excuses from this bunch.

6. Also heard on Randi's show : A woman with relatives in the
area working in the hotels: were told they could not leave until shift ended and if didn't show up for work the next day would be fired. If you are poor and need a job you can not just up and leave if the bossman says he will fire you if you go.

Also, per Randi, this storm hit at end of the month. If you are poor and on Social Security, Disability or any type of monthly check the money is all gone at the end of the month. THere is no money to go anywhere.
