in my home town in north florida
there are several unused buildings that could be used for shelters

sitting there idle

an old hospital building (built in the 70's but abandoned for one built last year)

several schools built in the 60's but were abandoned during integration because no whities wanted to go to school in "ni**ertown" although the buildings were far superior!

the waste is bad enough - let's put them to use NOW

My mother mentioned this to me last night, I encouraged her to call Jebbie and Allen Boyd!
