11. The Obvious: The Media Got Into All Areas - Why Not FEMA?
Edited on Thu Sep-01-05 06:13 PM by TahitiNut
If I were the most extreme Bushbot in the media and I were into the disaster areas for days and days and didn't see any FEMA relief but saw hundreds or thousands of homeless people without food or water ... I'd be a Bush opponent in an instant.

It's gotta be mind-numbing to the media people. They have food. They have water. They have shelter. They have transportation. They have communications. Where's FEMA???

I'm reminded of the movies of mountain climbers ... and always think: the cameraman is the one to be admired.

12. Dead bodies on the street does that to even those hacks.
I give them ZERO credit- seeing dead bodies should not compel you to tell the truth for once- you should do that all the time.

16. Anderson-Cooper is going off.
Basically calling BS on FEMA's lies about the NG on the ground, showing pictures to back up his statements, having interviews with reporters on the ground in NO who are calling BS on what the administration is saying. Very critical of the administration and the government.

I'm actually a little surprised. I don't think I've ever seen a reporter this critical of government before about anything, much less the Bush admin, who's ass they usually kiss.

And supposedly there is going to be a report on CNN tonight about what was known about the state of the levees prior to Katrina and funding cuts!

It's about damn time. We could have used this 5 years ago. Let's hope they don't retreat to stories about missing people again.
