Why can't the righties get this through their thick skulls?! Today at work we were talking about looters in New Orleans. I said that while I didn't think it was right to take TV'S and stereos, etc., some folks were just trying to eat and drink and maybe take a crude bath with actual soap. Another guy who is a rock ribbed righty said, "They're just a bunch of niggers. Who cares if the cops shoot 'em?" I went completely nuts on him screaming (literally) at him and told him that "We are all citizens and have the same rights to pursue the "American Dream". I was actually told to get out of the room and cool down by a boss I was so fucking upset. That was probably a good thing because I have been known to have a bad temper and may have started swinging. That would not have been good, as I would have gotten fired. But I HAVE HAD ENOUGH and I will fight back always now. Fuck these idiotic people.
Please excuse my language. It's just that the more I think about this, the angrier I get.
OK I am sorry if this post seems a little disjointed. I do not claim to be a great writer and a woman I was talking to the other night summed it up best. She said, "I'm tired of being angry all the time." She was speaking of the bushies. I agree.

I had a better experience at work even though I work with some Fox
watching clones. One of them started to go on about the people left
in NO, and I said that the poverty on the Gulf Coast was unimaginable
if you haven't seen it--like a third world country. Someone who HAD
seen it piped in and agreed. That diffused the racist/idiot comments
that I sensed were on the horizen. But maybe I was just lucky.

I am fat, bald and earthy. But these jokers I work with know my political beliefs very well. And in reality, most of them aren't as bad as this one guy. He's just an insecure little man. The tallest little man I have ever seen.
