1. But it IS political. The Bush Administration failed to protect people
That was their whole fuggin' campaign platform. They had FOUR days notice to do something and they failed. The disaster isn't political, but the aftermath most certainly is.

4. I'm getting real fucking tired of the wrong wing deciding when and if
something should be politicized. No more. EVERYTHING is now on the table. EVERYTHING.

5. Personally, I agree with them
Now is not the time to politicize this.

Way too many life and death issues that need to be focused on and be addressed.

There will be a time to make political hay over this. At this time we need to come together as a nation to help these people

16. Fuck politicizing it. I'm blaming them.
It's not politics to say the President did nothing. He cut funding that could have prevented the New Orleans portion of this disaster.

It was predicted and preventable. That's just a fact.

Nothing political about it.

and putting subliminal tower messages into the background of every Bush stump speech

10. The MOST POWERFUL MAN IN THE WORLD TELLS HIS ARMY
TO STAND DOWN WHILE WOMEN GET RAPED, CHILDREN KILLED, AND INNOCENTS DIE FROM DEHYDRATION BECAUSE THEY ARE POOR.

Bush quite effectively used on the threat & the "myth" of the strength of the American War Machine to get the Taliban to offer him Osama bin Laden on a platter (they didn't take the offer). And he sits on his ass while people in his own country are terrorized?

Drink some more juice! Be a patsy. Then the pain of that will require you to buy in even more. So you'll drink somemore kool-aid.

11. WTF does that mean?
Don't point out they were woefully unprepared for anoccurance that was predicted? Don't criticise the rich mofos who have sucked this country dry and now turn their backs on it? Fuck the RW. Hard. How 'bout they follow their own line of 'advice' and not spin this into something that is the fault of the 'years of Democratic govt' in LA?

Fuck them. they are some of the worst asshole on the planet.

12. Well excuuuse me, right wing, but you can kiss my golden ass
What a bunch of cowardly uncaring bastards they show themselves to be...
I'll politicize it if I feel like it, and I do feel like it, BECAUSE I am FURIOUS!
Your response to the most dire situation in perhaps our nation's history bares your true inner selves to the rest of us...You really hate America, don't you?

15. It Is Unavoidably Political, Sir
It could not be rendered an a-political event even if people tried. It is a spectacle of calamatous mis-rule, from the abject failure of government machinery before our eyes these last several ays through the cuts in budget for prevention of just this disaster, to the selection by money and prospects of who would be able to leave and who would be trapped in the flood. People are dying because this happened at the end of the month, not just after the first: it does not get more starkly illustrative of the plight of the working poor in this country than that....

17. That's about what I'd expect coming from the right wing.
"Don't politicize this." In other words, "Don't hold us accountable." That's about all they can say, but God help any Democrat who DOESN'T politicize this genocide from malign neglect, and do it DAMN LOUD and DAMN QUICK too! If they don't politicize this outrage I'll KNOW which side they are working for, and absolutely nothing they say or do from this moment on will convince me otherwise.

18. I'll be damned. They do have half a Brain! Death is the great equalizer.
There are Republicans and Democrats alike dying in New Orleans. None of them are more or less dead. They are just dead. My last jab. Perhaps one day the Republicans will also be able to see the LIFE written in our Constitution as a great equalizer the way Democrats do. What a great day that will be.
