Here is an ROWPU, on edit, fixed links

5,000 litres per hour each. Water is provided in one litre plastic bags. You hand them out 1 per person for the first while and get people rehydrated. As demand slows you hand out multiples. They are easily helicoptered where needed, along with a security detail.

What exactly can they remove from water? There are chemical toxins (gas, oil, etc.) in the NOLA waters as well as biological toxins.

You know how Bush is pissin' all over Louisiana right now? And how his piss is especially virulent, with radioactive elements, chemical contaminants and just pure evil in it?

Well, if we could collect that piss and feed it into a ROWPU, the machine would make it drinkable.

They are guaranteed to remove 95 percent of all radiological and chemical contamination, 100 percent of the dead animals and the diseases they carry, and 102 percent of the pure evil.
