Hey lurking freepers!! Enlighten me about something, would you?

So what I've been hearing from my Bush loving brothers and from various co-workers is this:

"Why must you blame our beloved Pretzeldent for this? I mean, he's one guy and he doesn't have THAT much power!! How could he stop a hurricane?? You just hate him so much that you want to blame him for everything!!!!"

Okay, so explain to my why all you fucking Bush loving assholes have NO problem calling him a goddamn hero for going and parading around NY after September 11th? Why did he get so much fucking credit then? Oh yeah, he was uplifting and supportive and he posed with the firefighters and somehow that translates to fucking hero status for you guys. He's all virile and takes PLENTY of credit when oh, say the statue of Saddam is pulled down or some of those pesky ragheads die overseas, right? But he doesn't take a fucking ounce of credit for this?

by having it headed up by a political hack. The money that was to go to making the levees stronger was diverted to the illegal war in Iraq. The Idiot in Chief waited TWO DAYS before doing anything about this tragedy, and was playing around on his "ranch" before the hurricane arrived. Compare, please, the efforts of FEMA under Clinton. Compare what Clinton did during national disasters.

But to listen to these assholes, Bush is but a helpless babe in the woods who had absolutely no control over what happened to NO. It's just unbelievable to me how disconnected these people are from reality.

Shrub looted FEMA, and reduced the preparations for hurricanes to fund tax cuts and his Iraq war. New Orleans was hit hard but wasn't in NEAR the shape it is today immediately after the hurricane. The levees breaking is what * is guilty of, THAT is what has led to the near complete destruction of New Orleans. These people need to wake up.

It honestly just makes me want to scream and cry when they give you that blank stare and repeat their tired mantra that I just hate Bush and I'll blame him for anything.

I've seen freepers talking about how much worse it would have been if bush hadn't called the local officials up and told them to evacuate. Can that possibly even be true???

Bush was too busy fundraising and acting like the overpriviledged spoiled brat he truly is to do that to begin with, but any port in a storm when your hero's under attack, I guess :shrug:

watching TV and perusing the 'internets'for any info that could be gotten about this catastrophe...so were millions of others...but we are supposed to believe that only just NOW he is realizing the extent of this horror show, in OUR OWN GODDAMNED COUNTRY!!!!

Does this shitwad still have a corded phone without an answering machine? No computer? no 'internets'? no goddamned cable? NOTHING????It's like there's some strange wormhole that people are supposed to believe, according to the WH, that they are immune from any info for hours, even days after the rest of us know about it...

All that money, and nothing to show for it....least of all, a CLUE!
