Poll question: So, Do You Think Davis Will Get Recalled?
I think he will. If for only one reason, that naturally in a RECALL election (that's held on an unusual date at an unusual time in the political season) you're going to have more people turning out who support it than oppose it.

I don't think the support for the recall was ever under 50% from what I can remember. And we'll certainly know by Wednesday if that's held true.

It's a shame. It's sucky for the people of California, but if more Californians show up to the polls and vote for the recall than vote 'no' - they deserve Arnold.

So I say, yes Davis is gone. And Arnold wins.

You?

1. I think he will be recalled, unfortunately.
I got my absentee ballot right here, ready to mail. It says "no" but who am I?

4. California is still a Liberal state and when push comes to shove it will
be known as such.

5. Touchscreen Voting and the Florida Plan should take care of that
I am not optimistic.

The Busheviks have the voting machines, lock stock and barrel.

Stalin was right. And, were he a murderous dictator who did not use the rationale of Communism to oppress his people, the Busheviks could do business with him, like they did business with Hitler.

6. Are you asking whether Davis will be recalled and Arnold will win
Or are you asking just whether Davis will be recalled?

10. kinda both
I don't think Bustamante is gonna win. And I think that's the general consensus now.

If Davis is recalled, then Arnold is probably going to win.

8. Internal polling and the "Dean factor"
Internal polling still shows this to be a tossup , Yes is ahead by the margin of rror.(3%) It's not the blowout slaughter the media is portraying.

However , Arnold just admitted he's been a pig ( and by inference, still is). This may dent his newfound female support.

beyond that is what I call the Howard Dean Factor. These are newly energized ( by Dean's message) people who have previously not voted who are now registered. They do not show up on a poll due to their non voting status of the past. They are mad, and I wonder aboutthe numbers, whether it will be significant, but they are voting "NO"
we'll know Weds if this is significant at this stage.

I am convinced nationally iyt is going to show up as a factor; I just can put my finger on a good measure in California.

Stay tuned

11. The media is drumming on Arnold's "inevitability"...
attempting to create a self-fulfilling prophesy. Arnold himself brazenly trotted out a 100-day plan *before* the election, as if it had already taken place.

If Californians truly understand the magnitude of what's at stake, they will stop this insane recall.
