Welcome to Bizarro World where the media blames the media . . .

I'm listening to Rush blame the media for his predicament and I'm hearing the local talk radio network--all CONs all the time--blame the media, and then I see newspaper columns blaming the media for every fucking problem the CONs are having.

This bizarre phenomenon is the equivalent of a reflection of an image in a mirror, which is reflected in another mirror which is reflected into another mirror ad infinitum. The image is lost. So is the media.

Excuse me while I run out into the streets holding my head and screaming. Hey, who knows, maybe I'll make it into "the media".

Every time a member of the media blames the media it is really just a self referential and aggrandizing media technique. It does not require thought, time, money, or honest investigation, it just takes chutzpa.
