GIVE RUDY GIULIANI CONTROL IN NOLA? HELL FCUKING NO!
Rita Cosby (the ugliest woman ever created) is suggesting that some people want to put Rudy Giuliani in control of New Orleans.

If you lived in NYC like I do and experienced this racist son of a bitch as mayor, you would now what she is suggesting.

This is a man who condones the shooting of unarmed black men and coddles and protects the police who shoot them.

There are just a few armed men creating havoc in NO, yet it appears that the newscasters on CNN are implying that the military cannot subdue them - that it is necessary to bring in a racist man from New York with mafia background to take charge of a city where he has no knowledge of the people or lifestyle.

A pox on Giuliani and his ugly wife.

1. Not only that. Under Jason Turner, Guiliani made it a requirement to

receive welfare, you had to take a "volunteer" job for the City, which meant stuff like cleaning the parks for like 15 hours a week.
http://www.iacenter.org/turner.htm
This meant firing civil servants (read, union workers) to get indentured servitude. I think welfare mothers had to donate some of their payments to pay for daycare too. I can only imagine Guiliani making the refugees clean and mop the Astrodome before they are allowed to board a bus to get out.

Plus his budget closed senior citizen centers, severely cut the hours that libraries were open, and he stood for "law and order" even it meant looking a little (okay, a lot) fascist. He was vile and despicable.

He was not the administrator and manager that he would have America believe, especially after 9-11. His successor, Mayor Mike Bloomberg, is running ads for re-election, reminding NYC voters how much the City sucked before HE was elected. 'Nuff said.

2. I think BushCo is scared that Giuliani would steal the limelight from them
RG loves to be in the media. He used to hold a news conference EVERY SINGLE DAY! He would overshadow Bush and his cohorts and take control of America from them.

8. i worked with HRA and many of those clients..under Turner
It was 30 hours a week. If you didnt do these menial "jobs" , you were sanctioned and your benefits were cut. It was awful. Then came the 5 year limit (2001) and they just got kicked off the rolls. Not sure of the situation now, as our contract expired under this compassionate prez. sigh.

10. Thanks. I forgot the details.
I learned about this from interviews between Bill Mazer at WEVD and Michael Tomaschi, Esther Fuchs from Columbia University and maybe Marie Coco. Otherwise, nothing from the media.

3. Rudy arrives in NOLA. Day 1: Mr. President can I have some troops?
Edited on Sat Sep-03-05 04:09 AM by applegrove
Mr President: Yes - the meeting was only 15 minutes long - we didn't discuss politics at all - we all agreed - our people are the most important things we own..and New Orleans is a treasure. We don't want things to get out of hand. Everyone at the table was concerned about the possibility of civil unrest..we won't let that cycle start. This is the U.S. of A.

Day 2:

Mr. President thanks for the troops - 7000 arrived last night and are in a convoy from Houston..they'll be here by 3:00 PM. Thanks.

And we hear there will be another 10,000 by Wednesday. Your the best.

P.S. You must have mobilized this first lot when I sent you that Emergency request letter on Sunday..or did FEMA do that? They were CC'd. Whoever!... you guys are the best. Bye

4. Why did you have to mention the wife like that? Not necessary.

7. I think this is still America...
and I have the right to express my opinion. If I think the wife is ugly I will say so.

RG is rotten mafia maggot-filled garbage and his wife is a homewrecker who publicly flaunted her affair with him while he was still married to Donna Hanover.

The Catholic Church has allowed this man to divorce and remarry not once BUT TWICE. His first wife was his VERY OWN COUSIN!. WHERE I COME FROM THAT IS CALLED INCEST.

9. I guess you don't know the story of Rudy and his current wife?
She deserves all the criticism she receives. In the old days they called women like her home-wreckers. Rudy still had two young children at home when he marched in the St. Patrick's Day Parade with his new girlfriend/now wife. The woman is a total twit with that stupid smile she always has plastered on her face.

5. I get really upset when
Cons say the mayor is not a "Rudy" type. The two disasters are not even comparable. The New Orlean's mayor entire city was wiped out not just a specific area.

6. They must be prepping him for that Presidential bid
What a crock. Oh he'll do a great job! Just ask Mexico City. They hired the man to the tune of $4.3 million to give them pointers on fighting crime.
Well, alot of good that did. Many crimes, including kidnappings actually rose after they took his advise.
