CODE PINK & CALIFORNIANS SAY NO TO ARNOLD!

WHEN: Friday, October 3rd. 5pm
WHERE: California State Building, 455 Golden Gate Ave.

San Francisco

**For rallies in other areas of the state, please go to:
<http://www.codepinkalert.org/CodePink_Vigil_Information_Arnold_Protest.shtml>

Rally against Arnold and his deplorable record of violence against women. If you are in the Bay Area and would like to travel with us en masse from the Arianna Huffington campaign office, please come to 580 Market St., 4th floor at 4:15pm this Friday. Bring signs (ideas on the code pink link above) and bring your sisters, mothers, daughters, girlfriends, wives, and friends. Women and men of California must not let Arnold win this election! No Groper for Governor!

-------------------------------------------
Schwarzenegger's Track Record on Women:

*From an interview with Schwarzenegger: "As much as when you see a blonde with great tits and a great ass, you say to yourself, 'Hey, she must be stupid or must have nothing else to offer', which maybe is the case many times. But then again there is the one that is as smart as her breasts look, great as her face looks, beautiful as her whole body looks gorgeous, you know, so people are shocked." Esquire Magazine July 2003

* Schwarzenegger described a scene in his new movie, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. "I saw this toilet bowl. How many times do you get away with this -- to take a woman, grab her upside down, and bury her face in a toilet bowl? I wanted to have something floating there." Entertainment Weekly July 11, 2003

* "Arnold came to London in 2000, his behavior led insiders to label him 'the octopus'. When TV presenter Anna Richardson interviewed Arnold for Big Screen at the Dorchester Hotel, he asked her pointblank if her breasts were real. He then pulled her onto his knee, circled her nipple with his finger, squeezed it and announced: 'Yeah, they are real.' And when Denise Van Outen interviewed him for The Big Breakfast, he slapped her bottom then brushed his arm against her breast. Afterwards, he smirked: 'It was a handful. I never know if my wife's watching. I'll tell her it was a stuntman.' The Groping Governor by Wendy Leigh, Daily Mail UK, August 18, 2003

* "During the production of the 1991 mega-blockbuster Terminator 2: Judgment Day, a producer on that film recalls Arnold's emerging from his trailer one day and noticing a fortyish female crew member, who was wearing a silk blouse. Arnold went up to the woman, put his hands inside her blouse, and proceeded to pull her breasts out of her bra. Another observer says, "I couldn't believe what I was seeing. This woman's nipples were exposed, and here's Arnold and a few of his clones laughing. I went after the woman, who had run to the shelter of a nearby trailer. She was hysterical but refused to press charges for fear of losing her job. It was disgusting." Arnold the Barbarian: Premiere Magazine March 2001

* "Once in Gold's--the gym in Venice, California, where all the top guys train--there was a black girl who came out naked. Everybody jumped on her and took her upstairs, where we all got together," said Arnold. Asked by interviewer Manso if he was talking about a "gang bang," Schwarzenegger answered "Yes." Oui Magazine August 1977
