figure out how we can be pissed off and still keep our heads all at once.. otherwise people will start getting disappeared for incenting violence or shot for appearing threatening.

If they don't have enough national guard to save NO, they certainly don't have enough to send to my city to keep me and my neighbors from rioting.

Yesterday, while grocery shopping, I couldn't help but overhear conversations about the hurricane response and gas prices. Everyone was mad . . . elderly people, singles, young mothers with little kids. The grocery line was a major bitch session.

there is enough Kool-aid in the world to simmer things down again. People are gonna start going postal.

I have never heard so much universal anger over these two situations.

Our pocketbooks and hearts are both taking a hit and Bush has no good answers.

last night all hell broke loose in the breakroom. my democratic buddy got into with a rethug over the fact that we spent billions andwe are not safe. ghe brought up the fact that if a terrorist blew up a nuke or bio weapon we would be just as screwed as those in new orleans and the rethug couldn`t answer back. some rethug asshole comes in a bar where my wife works and she got so pissed off at him the owner made her stay away from him ( we have known each other for years). there is a civil war brewing across this country among those who support bush and those who don`t. in my 40 years of "political life" i have never seen the country so divided between political and personal lines.

won the court battle and took office, we would have the worst war we'd ever seen. I took that to mean nuclear WWIII, but now I am more worried about a second civil war. And with the death toll of the last one being 618,000, it would have to be a hell of a war this time to take the title of worst ever.

to the free market hell we see on display in New Orleans, maybe what you fear will be avoided. We all know there are values greater than the dollar. Things don't have to be the way they are at the moment.
