Convention ctr = middle passage

I am sitting here lesson planning for my AP US Hist class....
I just read a Primary sources account of middle passage..... It's the same as being in the convention center.....
NO WONDER "simon legree" bush is okay with those conditions.

I think this is more of a class issue, but all those poor people are going to be thrown to the winds. Some away from family, people have died, etc. It did remind me of the middle passage.
