1. I heard he's on "vacation"
will he even be on???

If he is, it'll probably be his last show before "checking in"

2. Wouldn't Oxymoron be more appropriate?
Or perhaps, "Oxymoran" for the freepers.

3. Vacation or DE-TOX?
Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

The Republicans spent 60 some million dollars to shake Clinton's tree and unfortunately Monica dropped out.

The Democrats do nothing and just watch the dead bodies pile up . . . nothing fails like success.

10. Prescription Drug Problems - NOT FUNNY
I think Rush's comments about McNabb are fair game. His problem with prescription drugs is not fodder for wannabe comedians. I have been there - addiction by prescription. The phrase, "I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy" applies in this case to Rush Limbaugh. I don't like the man's politics or his arrogant personality - but I will not make fun of addiction by prescription. IT IS HELL and I wish the man all the best. Liberal compassion? Maybe. By I believe in liberal compassion and I believe much of that is lost - especially of late on DU.

11. No, it's not funny.
It's not funny.

It's revenge.

That's much better.

12. It's not funny, it's hysterical!
I certainly hope the man gets help, but he would not be in the predicament he is in now if he hadn't been such a pretentious, self-righteous asshole for the last decade.

The major difference between a liberal and conservate?

Liberal: But for the grace of God, go I.

Conservative: I am God.

I am sympathetic to his problem, but I refuse to NOT see the poetic justice and humor of the situation.

This is karmic blow back for the "Chelsea is a dog" crack.

13. Long rants heard on long cross country drives...
about the inferiority of "ebonics", "feminazis" ,
"billery", and getting rid of tv and other luxuries
for prisoners.

I don't care what takes him down I'm just glad it
may finally happen. I figured he would get caught
raping young boys years ago but no 15 years he has
poisoned the airwaves.

If he want compassion he should renounce support of
the war on drugs. I would have felt no sadness the
day Goebbels died and will certainly not feel some
for this bastard well he is still on the air. If
he was homeless eating out of a garbage can I would
but he is fithy rich from pedaling rightwing
propaganda for years. Jail is what he deserves
barring a trip to the war crimes tribunal.

9. He was the dubiously chosen keynote speaker at the NAB convention.
Not the McNabb convention, the National Association of Broadcasters. No accounting for taste...
