Caption: Singer Harry Connick Jr., a New Orleans native, prays over two dead bodies Thursday outside the New Orleans Convention Center, where thousands of people were waiting for help in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

8. This is SO SAD
that they aren't able to gather the dead bodies. Of all the inhumanity that we have witnessed, leaving dead bodies on the street is the most inhumane.
