Have Wal-Mart or any other companies made significant grants for relief?
I haven't heard much if they have. Anyone have any information?

2. Walmart did. I believe it was 2 donations of $15 million each. Also
other companies, but I don't remember who.

...and the pig that was filling in for OxyRush said that they also "donated their inventory after their store was looted." BTW asshole they wouldn't be able to sell that inventory so go fuck yourself.

19. I think if you're getting water and food for your family that is one thing
but one lady i swear was hauling a FLOOR LAMP around. What are you going to do with that lady? You have no house, no electricity...But i guess it makes your square of interstate look nicer. :shrug:

4. I know the company I work for gave 1 million.
They will match each employee that donates as well. We have over 35,000 employees....

7. I also heard about the 15mil........
and that they are going to open Mini-Wal Marts, with a limited selection of everyday necessities...and everything will be FREE! Now that is how you can help those who need it the most. I believe it was on AAR news the other day.

They could fill some of their trucks with toiletries and some clothes to get supplies to shelters. It would be a great help and get them some brownie points which they best start earning

and at the front doors they were selling tons of bottled water of at $3 which no one is buying, wouldnt it be better to donote that water since no one wants it anyway when I saw this I walked out and went to the KMART down the street.

that he hadn't heard from FEMA but that Walmart (and they showed a big water distribution center they'd set up) had brought water in...

16. This past week I was visiting my grandmother
and we went into WalMart and in the front entrance they had a sign about relief and what you could do to help New Orleans and the areas effected.
