How many people wil die because of Bush's NOLA photo op?
People are starving and dehydrated, old people and the sick are barely alive, and Bush shuts down ALL relief efforts so he can play president for Karl's cameras. How many will die, you BASTARD!

In St. Bernard and Plaquemines parishes, just south of New Orleans, victims of the hurricane are still waiting for food and water and for buses to escape the floodwaters, Melancon said. And for the entire time Bush was in the state, the congressman said, a ban on helicopter flights further stalled the delivery of food and supplies.

1. Funny thing. Couple of hours after shrub's "tour" of Biloxi, anMSNBC
reporter was pointing out what buildings used to be where in the area. The anchor asked where all the people were. He said the area was deserted, and he was having a hard time even finding anyone to interview. My question: Where did Shrub happen to find those people to hug and "comfort" just walking down the street?

3. think about this
wouldn't you think people would want to see their president after something like this? wouldn't you expect them to try to get some comfort and reassurance from the president?

Bush's photo ops on Friday were practically deserted. no one wants to see him.

that should tell you something.

2. The whole thing was staged BS...
Just a chance to try to drum up pity for his buddy Trent Lott. No crying from this American, thanks. My sympathies are with the truly needy...and Lott IS NOT one of them.

"Flying over this critical spot again (Saturday) morning, less than 24 hours later, it became apparent that yesterday we witnessed a hastily prepared stage set for a presidential photo opportunity, she said. and the desperately needed resources we saw were this morning reduced to a single, lonely piece of equipment"
