They never stop worring about how they will be perceived once fed through the repug mill. They are scared. It paralyzes them!

That is all for now...

2. No guts, no glory.
It's time the Dems remembered why they are Dems.

3. And because of that, they end up looking
nearly as bad as the repukes to the non-hardcore dems. It's sad really. All it takes is a bit of standing up, and the people will embrace you, but so few are willing to take that stand.

4. With a few exceptions they are spineless whimps.
Tell the truth and show you are passionate about your beliefs and people will vote for you.

5. That's easy. Too many Dem leaders are pussies...
Howard Dean and Wesley Clark are alright in my book. The rest of them need to check themselves before they wreck themselves. John Kerry, this means you, too.

7. The biggest problem is those democrats who don't speak out at all!
Those democrats who made a deal with the neocons, they need to go!!! :argh:

Meanwhile, the rest like Howard Dean need to train the democrats how to do this: And do this by going on TV all the time and fighting with baren teeth!!!!

There is a reason the DNC outdid everybody.....It's fighting the guerilla warfare for the dems, ALL dems need to fight like that!

12. They are not too dissimilar from the opposition.
They vote with them, they don't challenge them and by moving more to the right in order to mimic Repub wins they alienate what used to be their core supporters. They have been taken over be the DLC crowd that is too beholden to following the money trail like the Repigs.

With the exception of a few like Conyers, Kunich and most of the time, Dean and Boxer, IMO the Dems no longer fully represent my interests and those progressives like me.

Unless the Dems remember their roots in '06 and '08 and give us candidates to represent those of us on the left side of things and forget being popular with the swing and undecided voters and corporate interests, I fear they will never recapture what we have lost and give this country back to the people and finance reform is the first critical step.

14. The Democrats used to be about having a passion for doing what is right ..
... now it seems (especially after eight years of CLinton) we are the party that will say or do whatever is expedient.
