because she did the program taped and not live and she didn't go there and perform but did it in Las Vegas. :shrug: I think that's what it was anyways. But I've always been a Celine fan since the "Titanic" movie.

Very emotional stuff. She said a lot of things I've been saying all week, particularly about the looting.

Still don't care much for her music, but I liked what she had to say.

And I said what I said because I've been seeing Celine ripped apart on DU for years (especially in the Lounge). Thought she must have stuck pins in a Bush voodoo doll or something to gain so much popularity here.

It's a three-hour special and she's not on until about the last half-hour. So if you tune in at, say, 6:15 or so you should be fine.

11. I stayed up very late to hear Celine...

...because I only caught the last couple minutes of her appearance.

She was honest and she spoke from the heart.

I hope more people continue to speak out about the obvious failures of this corrupt, reckless, compassion-less administration. God knows the Republicans will have their PR machine working overtime. We need every voice we can get.

Larry King seemed uncomfortable. He was the master of ceremonies at Bush Sr. 80the birthday party. He's a family friend. So I guess Celine's honesty was uncomfortable for him.

I don't know what to make of Clinton. I really don't.

He did say that the erosion of the wetlands played a part in the disaster.

However, he did say that the most important thing was the immediate crisis, and that questions about the levies and if this could have been prevented--will be answered later.

If he is towing the BushCo line--it is really sad.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for a couple of weeks. I expect him to start speaking the truth, or else I'll consider him a casualty of the war BushCo started on America.
