3. also, the first two women who greeted him, supposed victims,.
seemed manufactured. nice clean clothes on. Hair fine.
big hugs for Bush, who seemed uncomfortable accepting them, even though they were probably part of the script.

it seemed phony all the way around.

7. Some interesting information on the sisters is emerging.
I can't quite call the information factual yet, but I think it's very likely they were planted.

I think there is a good chance Friday will become another "Mission Accomplished" moment for this phony administration.

5. Put the German link through Babelfish and got some interesting
stuff.

This is straight from the translated page, so pretend that Yoda was the reporter:

"Clearing work only for Bush?
"Where the US president visited the disaster area, auxiliary troops cleared up before properly - however only there. From Biloxi quoted Second Channel of German Television correspondent Claudia Rueggeberg desperate inhabitants, Bush is to bring auxiliary goods here in his sedans instead of loud Bodyguards and assistant dear.
"Along its route clearing troops would have cleared before Bushs attendance debris and would have saved corpses. Then Bush left again "and with it", so Rueggeberg, "the whole auxiliary troops". At the situation in Biloxi otherwise nothing changed, it is missing at everything."

17. Here is a translation I just wrote of the German text.
Was clearing work accomplished for the benefit of Bush?

Those areas, which were visited by the US president, were cleared by specially assigned troops prior to the arrival of the president. Other areas were left untouched. Claudia Rueggeberg, a correspondent from ZDF, the German Second Channel, quotes desperate inhabitants of demanding needed supplies rather than bodyguards and assistants be placed in the limousines of the President’s motorcade.

Along his route, troops were assigned the task of removing debris and dead bodies. Subsequently, Bush would then move the next site, accompanied by the same troops who would repeat the process. According to Rüggenberg, the situation in Biloxi has not improved. There is lack of supplies and services.

19. The same is true for the 17th Street Levee repairs
They've been bring one helicopter at a time to drop sand all week. Bush is on the way, all kinds of equipment and helicopters show up. They work at a frenzied pace and it looks like finally they are getting serious about closing the hole. Bush leaves, the equipment leaves and they go back to their original snail's pace.

The abuse of power is appalling.

8. Hey, can you change your thread title to "Yet ANOTHER photo op was fake"?
People might think you're talking about the hugging-the-fake-victims photo OP.

I read further down on that dailyKos thread and one of the posters mentioned Mary Landrieu and STILL ANOTHER fake Bush photo op involving the levee repair.

Unbelievable.

9. The whole day was one fake photo op after another.
When they started with that phony "briefing" in the hangar with the maps and all, it was clear the only reason for the visit was propoganda.

20. These photo-op are evidence of ABUSE OF POWER
We impeached a president for a stain on a blue dress because that was an abuse of power.

What Bush has done since before the storm hit and his acts after it passed is a continuous ABUSE OF POWER which requires removal from office.

21. Laura's photo op at Cajandome - made everyone wait for meals for 1hour
http://www.acadiananow.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050902/NEWS05/50902009/1075

First lady Laura Bush arrived about midday to tour the shelter and meet
evacuees.

By 12:50 p.m., the trays of food were still covered and hungry evacuees
stood in line, holding empty plates. Rice, beans and jambalaya were on the
menu. About that time, volunteers began rolling the carts of food into
position to serve.
