My thoughts are with them in this difficult time. Let's set an example, folks.

2. This post will go great with the one about Pissing on his grave

Stange to see them back to back for me.

As much as I did not like his views I feel sorry for his family. I admire that he worked into his 80s. I should hope to be so lucky to be working and somewhat healthy a few days before my own demise

And totally misread it. Maybe you should start a thread for the hurricane victims too, if you really want to set an example.

5. Well, you know what...

Rehnquist lived a long and happy life. We knew he was sick and was going to pass away. He passed away at home with loved ones.

The people in the Gulf Coast are mostly poor and suffered to death. So, I'm sorry if my sympathy isn't as grand for Rehnquist.

Plus, it makes ME wonder why you feel more sorry for the passing of Rehnquist that the hurricane victims. You are the one who should be ashamed.

Rehnquist is gone and is probably in a better place while hurricane victims are left with nothing.

6. Dear Lord in heaven above. Please depose of the soul of Justice Rehnquist
just as you did the multitudes of KKK members, lynchers and white supremacists that passed before him.

Amen,
NSMA

8. I don't wish this death on anyone. We have cancer in our family.
But I cannot help but think that the legacy he leaves behind will be his family's burden to bear. I feel for anyone having a loss. But it seems so sad to me that he could die with dignity in his bed and too many others, because of his 'judicial activism' couldn't. RIP, Renquist. May God forgive you your many and manifold sins. I feel for your family but I don't feel for you. God bless all who grieve tonight, wherever they are.
