Kiwis stuck in New orleans

Awful stories coming out from Kiwi survivors of the Hurricane in New Orleans. Some New Zealand tourists who hid out in a hotel during the hurricane, and to join the looters to survive, they said no authorties were to be seen, and we had to loot for food and water with the other looters, I hope the media points out that a percentage of people were looting to feed themselves.

I sent him a copy of the news report you mention above and said I agreed with him. "Let's 'lock and load' against those bastards!"

He then decided that maybe "looting" wasn't so bad after all.

TRAPPED Australian tourists describe hurricane-raved New Orleans as a war zone, with them and everyone else driven to looting just to survive.

Rockhampton couple Tim and Joanne Miller have linked up with another Australian couple, Gary and Cynthia Jones.

All four are living in an abandoned mall with hundreds of other people.
They told Channel Seven News the streets were lawless with dead bodies everywhere.
