Anyone else get the incomplete news alert from CNN today?
I got one that was clearly an error.

It said:

"-- President Bush"

To me, it looked like they were saying we should subtract Bush from the equation.

I thought, "I'll drink to that."

2. 2 thoughts
1) they were waiting for him to think of something to say, and he never did....

2) the dashes were in place of a word they can't print....

Either that or someone in the newspeak ministry meant to write out the english translation for "double negative bad"

Many news sites let you sign up for breaking news email alerts.
Whenever there is breaking news, they send you an email.

strange--I have seen some like that in the past few years, but usually followed 2 mins or so later by the rest of the info or a correction
