This is no time for finger pointing about Katrina!!
Bushit!! Bush cut the funding for levee projects that would have minimized the casualties and destruction. Bush sent the needed troops and resources to Iraq to look for WMDs. Bush allowed for a slow response to this national disaster. Terry Schiavo got a quicker response from Bush and Frist to keep her feeding tube in a family dispute.

Clinton wasn't even afforded the opportunity to grieve for his mother when she passed. Everytime Clinton went after Bin Ladin he was "wagging the dog". It was much more important to find out about a stained dress than to stop terrorists.

Do not attempt to speak of this now for that is politicizing the disaster. Speak of this and other atrocities at a later more politically correct (convenient) time so that it can fall on deaf ears or be drowned out altogether by some other event.

1. Again, paraphrasing Monty Python:
'Let's not bicker about who killed who. This is a rescue. It's supposed to be a HAPPY occasion.'

These people couldn't make me any more disgusted. They've hit rock bottom.

2. This is exactly the time
Now, while people are still in shock with the horror of it. It will fade from public attention soon enough and no one will care about the failures than they do about the pre-9/11 or pre-Iraq war failures.

4. Now is PRECISELY the time
that we all MUST lay blame at the feet of those that deserve it. It's not politics, it's speaking the truth and they can't handle it.

6. Remember the images of 9/11 politicized during the election
Let the Republicans use these images to garner support. I'd hate for the Dems to do it but it if it serves the purpose of reminding others so that steps are taken to minimize disaster, so be it.

8. Yeah, I'm having to listen to the soft plop of the same punchbowl
turds. We have to ask, damnit!
Given the institutionalized ignorance, arrogance, stupidity and stunning incompetence of the assholes who have exacerbated the death and destruction, why in the hell should we allow them to continue the same behavior by staying in their offices?
Just as the "stay the course" imbeciles will only worsen the situation is Iraq, these dumb asses have to be accused and removed before they f**k up what little good remains.

10. Exactly. How do you refuse international help for a situation..
you helped create and have neither the desire or competence to resolve? It goes beyond arrogance and stupidity.

12. Senator Shit for Brains (d) Louisiana
Sure woke up and changed her tune since the Anderson Cooper interview. That and Bush's staged photo op. She seemed more deserving of her office when Stephenopolous interviewed her.

11. Yeah, except that "later" never seems to come, does it?
And also, by the time "later" comes, they've got their lies all lined up and hey presto! it turns out that it was all Bill Clinton's fault.
