Is Reverend Moon the false Messiah?
The Four Horsemen are usually known as War, Famine/Depressed Commerce, Pestilence/Death, and the False Messiah.

The False Messiah controls the others, as well as the Beast described in Revelations.

From Revelations 13:4-7.
...And they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations...

Sounds like a certain president to me...
We all know the connections between Moon and the Bushies.

Is the end of the world coming????

1. Moon is an idiot
I'm a Korean American and he's an idiot who has a misconstrued everything about Christianity. I'm afraid that Koreans in Korea think he's a leader.

2. THE False Messiah?
out of how many hundreds over the last twenty centuries?

The references in Revelations were all to things that were happenning at about that time. Even if you believe it was inspired prophecy there's no reason to associate it with today.

8. Nostradamus- most impt. identifying trait is his ability to deceive

Michel Nostradamus (1503-1566) a French physician and astrologer who wrote over 900 predictions concerning the fate of the world. Written in four-lined rhyming quatrains, they were to be become famous for their astonishing accuracy. Note: A quatrain circulating around and attributed to Nostradamus: "The village idiot" etc. is a hoax, and it was not written by Nostradamus.

That being said, the devil does hide the truth behind a lie, and the Antichrist's most important identifying trait is his ability to deceive. What better deception than to play the idiot? Hitler was ridiculed and compared to Charlie Chaplain, but the world soon discovered he was anything but a joke. bush openly remarks that his greatest advantage lies in the fact that people tend to underestimate him, and indeed the devil's most powerful weapon lies in the fact that we often underestimate his great cunning. Understand, I'm not denying that bush as a man is basically a complete idiot - however the principalities and powers commanding and guiding his actions are not stupid. .

.... doubtful man shall not come far from the reign

The greatest part will uphold him

A capital will not consent that he should reign

His great chair he shall not be able to maintain.

This one is pretty straightforward, and it concerns the man who tried to stop the AntiChrist's rise to power: "A doubtful man shall not come far from the reign" = Everyone doubted Gore had a chance, but he ended up nearly capturing the presidency.

"The greatest part will uphold him." = He won the popular vote.

"A capitol will not consent he should reign" = The right-wing US Supreme Court in Washington stopped the counting of votes in Florida to ensure Gore's defeat.

"His great chair he shall not be able to maintain." = He's now also lost the office of Vice President.

12. doesn't nostradamus
also say that Bush, i mean the end of the world, will occur, at the end of the 2nd millenium?

what occurred at the end of the 2nd millenium (which was the end of 2000, not the end of 1999, as the media was indicating)? hmm, let me think back.

oh yes. satan was anointed president of the most powerful country in the world. oh yes.

13. In all honesty I actually don't know too much about it
I'm posting this mainly for fun. I don't think anyone's taking this stuff too seriously.

You know much about the subject? Is it all bunk?

9. Moon is not any kind of Messiah
except in his own megalomaniac mind and the minds of his poor, deluded followers.

15. I doubt it
I find it difficult for the writer of Revelation (no s, by the way) to have these kinds of insights via a (arguably) hallucinogenic induced dream.

Moon is one of many charismatic people over the centuries who have used their power of persuasion for self-centered, destructive purposes. Hardly a good guy, but not a "false messiah" either.

16. He thinks he is another reincarnation of Jesus Christ.
Just because he thinks it and has convinced his brain-washed followers to believe him doesn't make it so. The real anti-Christ is sitting in the White House now.
