Since when do Americans
have to get permission to help other Americans?

Why is FEMA blocking everyone and everything who wants to help the people of New Orleans?

This is America folks, this is not Iraq. What next. Armed guards at checkpoints throught the country?

This most stop now.

4. You left America in 2000 when the SC gave bu$h the election
This is the first time the media has given any exposure to the world that America doesn't really exist anymore.

5. Free help competes with privatized help. Those goons don't want
to loose the value of "goodwill" to some group of local volunteers or donation of a town's boats. Goodwill is an "asset" on the balance sheet. And big corporations are counting it up as we speak. Will make for big CEO bonuses.

Can't we understand? It looked really scary there for a while on Tuesday when people were being rescued by public agencies. Nobody was making any money or "goodwill" off those rescues.

Oh the waste. Oh the Christianity! The terrible waste when public agencies do the public good.

:sarcasm:

6. My neighbor the fireman says that people have to register to help in order
to be screened..they don't want more dangerous people going down under the auspices of "helping" and raising more hell.

This has never been a problem in other disasters or a least not a very big one.

This is the same demonization of the people of NO that the M$M and BushCo has been attempting since day one, when every hurricane story lead of with unsubstantiated reports of looting.

11. They already tore FEMA down after 9-11
when they militarized that department, under Homeland Security and the Pentagon.

What we are seeing is a military operation, not a rescue mission.
