When ever I hear a number of how many choppers are doing rescue operations it is always so low... I know before Bush "sprung into action" a couple days ago I think there were only like 40 Coast Gaurd choppers flying missions. Now there are more but HOW many more.

The rescuers are saying they don't have the resources to save everyone from the rooftops before they will die. How many choppers do they have down there.

1. No air traffic control.
I heard choppers were having trouble avoiding hitting each other since the choppers are commanded by different groups and there is no overall coordination. Either a lack of choppers or a lack of coordination - it seems should be solvable.

2. wow. imagine that. another "emergency management" issue

3. The number I heard today was 60, and they were "starting" to get
down in the lower parishes.

4. Wow! Really good that Bush stood down for 5 days. It was going
to take too long for some victims to be saved even if Bush had done his job and sent the troops to staging areas Monday & Tuesday.

Too bad about the missing 3 Days when lawlessness inevitably broke out.
