Haven't most (two-thirds) of the NO police turned in their badges?

I think I heard that at least 2/3 of New Orleans police turned in their badges.

Are they certain these individuals were New Orleans police who are accused of shooting the contractors?

According to Senator Landrieu on the ABC news show this morning

you can also understand. The federal government purposely did not give them adequate resources to help, rescue, police, get control of that city.

If you get shot - there is no ambulance for you.

I wonder what the police chiefs will have to say about the gun shops not been evacuated of all ammunition & weapons?

Those places should have been secured at the very least.

Leaving your armories open to anybody - is government were not stupid enough to do way back 5,000 years ago. I'm sure we can find a flood somewhere back in archaic times where civilization secured the area during a flood.

This isn't negligence...this isn't even civilization. The Sumerians did a better job. The Aztecs, the Egyptians, the old Chinese empire et all did a better job. And they didn't even know of the concept of Christianity or human rights! They did better than Bush.
