1. Nagin was very toned down..
.. but still effective. He was very respectful towards Bush and the office of the presidency. Bush let him take a shower on Air Force One. What a guy. (sarcasm)

8. I am so grateful for Mayor Nagin. He is doing a superb job under
tremendous stress, in heartbreaking circumstances...I like what he says and the way he says it. I am so sorry that he did not get the help that he and his city needed immediately. He is so right, when he says, "I don't want to hear that" in response to suggestions that immediate relief was impossible. This is America. With all the resources we have, it is simply unacceptable that our Federal Government did not respond immediately.

Again, Thank you Mayor Nagin. :patriot:

I am so sorry for your loss and the loss of all the victims of Katrina and the Federal Government's colossal failure.

9. I'm not happy with that interview.
Three days before the National Guard BROKE through? How about... Stopping all search and rescue and holding water and food until Lord Pissypants was finished with his PR photo-op? How about the cutting of the communication lines? How about hundreds of boats waiting to help with rescue being turned away by the NG? How about Wal-Mart showing up with truckloads of water and being turned away? How about having a Navy Vessel that followed the storm in and being totally available for rescue and medical needs? How about dropping people off at the Convention Center and telling them they'd be right back and four days later...NOBODY CAME! How about people dropping dead and NG troops throwing their bodies to the side of a LOCKED building? How about the FEMA doing absolutely nothing (except to purposefully thwart rescue efforts)...

Weak interview, imo. Never once did he even suggest that WILLFUL NEGLIGENCE and a COMPLETE LACK OF HUMANITY killed thousands in his city. I am disgusted.
