Wait for it....(Sarcasm)

There has been a lot of speculation running rampant the last few days about where Dick Cheney has been and what he has been up to...Well, may I submit:

Gulf Response, Part Dieux:

By maximizing the catastrophic damage following in the wake of Hurricane Katrina Bush, Cheney, Brown, Chertoff, Haliburton, et al are expediting the 'PNAC Middle East Plan'.

1. Most Hurricanes originate off the coast of Africa. Hurricane Katrina did not - it appeared off the Bahamas.

PNAC/Bush interpretation: If it didn't originate off the coast of Africa, it wasn't a natural hurricane.

Cheney: NOTE to self - pressure NOAA personnel to admit it could be of man made origins. (Logic: if humans can create snow on ski slopes, it's a small step to creating a Cat. 5 hurricane.)

2. Katrina gained strength over the Gulf of Mexico - ergo, the Mexican government is complicit.

PNAC/Bush interpretation: Can't invade Mexico - hispanic population in US is too large - politically prohibitive.

Cheney: Can't invade Mexico yet, insufficient Minutemen volunteers extended across the US/Mexican border - besides they don't have sufficient oil access to make it profitable to Haliburton.

3. If it wasn't a natural hurricane - someone had to start it....WHO?

PNAC/Bush: Current country of choice - IRAN!!

Cheney: US Gulf coast and Iran = Maximization of profits for Haliburton. (NOTE to self: Increase pressure on NOAA personnel!!)

PNAC/Bush: Sell propoganda to US public: In order to preempt future hurricanes of Katrina's strength from coming ashore on US soil, we need to invade Iran. NOW!!

Cheney: Best way to sell that to GOP base in US is to maximize damage from Katrina and say it was a warning from God.

Don't that beat all.
