Another Shepard Smith outburst?
Has anyone else heard of this? My husband is crusing other chat rooms and apparently someone said that Shep Smith, talking to Hannity, lost it and said something to the effect of "I don't care anymore about Fox News' policies, this is what I saw..."

But, of course, Fox wouldn't have that on their website, and I haven't seen or read any independent corroboration that this actually happened. I'd love to see it if it did...

Anyone else see or hear this?

2. It sounds like an exchange from a few days ago
Though there was nothing said about "Fox News' policies" in there.

See the "Horror Show" video on Crooks and Liars: http://www.crooksandliars.com/

12. It probably repeated once that night
Fox News and MSNBC seem to be too cheap to have 24 hour live coverage during this event. CNN has been doing about the same thing at night but at least mixes it up a bit with a live anchor throwing to the tape clips with maybe a few minutes of of new live interviews thrown in until 5am EST.

4. I didn't hear him specifically mention Fox New policies, but he wouldn't
let Hannity and O'Reilly dismiss him with the usual spin. He was outraged, and out of their control.

5. Shep is under the mistaken impression that he works for
a news gathering organization. It is of course actually a propaganda machine and they could care less what he saw in New Orleans, especially if it hurts BushCo.

8. Where is Shep now?
I saw the Hannity-Smith exchange when it happened and have watched a good deal of Fox since then but I've seen and heard nothing from or about him.

Did they give him the weekend off?

18. Geraldo was back last night.
He issued what seemed like a half-hearted apology for his outburst.

It seems unusual for Smith to take the weekend off immediately after his overpass outrage. He's been down in New Orleans since day one. Even if he took a light work day I figure he'd certainly make a few comments or be interviewed once or twice due to his experience there.

Maybe his Fox bosses have put him a Fox re-education camp.

10. Shep always struck me as one of the more rational and level headed
people on Fox. He seems to have a good heart. He is working at the wrong place and needs to get out of that crap hole and say what is really on his mind.

11. He's AILES First/Original Butt Boy
Was the first hire when Faux was nowhere, has survived his fauxes (vehicle assault during 2000 fracas and saying b.j. on the air, AND being rumored in Gay bars).

Nobody cares.

17. I was just watching Shepard and Geraldo on Hannity clip
it is unbelievable. They both confirm that basically all those people were calculatedly locked down in that shithole of death for all those days.

How did it happen? It wasn't just some accident... Ooops we had a flat on the way. The existing plans had to have been ordered off. Someone had a conscious plan to commit an attrocity.
