Whoever "Phantom Power" is, he or she needs to be put in a position of great authority, so we'll all (especially FEMA) listen to him or her.

1. Anyone Looking at The Water Temp Understood the Possibility

I said the same to a co-worker a week before Katrina came into existence. The scarey thing is, it's only the beginning of "Huricane Season".

6. All kinds of people were predicting it to be catastrophic
Hell, even Matt Drudge said the death toll if the city floods would dwarf what we saw on 9/11. Lionel said almost the same thing. I had a feeling it was going to be one of the worst storms in US history just because of the way New Orleans is built. Any storm that is a Cat 4 or 5 hitting a major city is going to be huge and the Gov. should have been gearing up ahead of time.
