But an idiot only looks capable in the eyes of another idiot.

6. Scalia and Thomas must feel like fools right now.
After carrying all that water for the right. To have the new kid pushed to the front of the line is a major insult to them and to their supporters.

This could be a HUGH!!!!!!!!11 mistake.

11. If Hatch and Specter weren't consulted on this,
There's going to be fallout, like never before. Look for some of the GOP, especially those up for re-election next year to have plenty to say about this. Has Chimpy unknowingly begun the fracturing the party?

Faint hope I know, but for a president who has a 45% approval rating to be demanding fealty on a pick like this is risky at best, and another example of how oblivious he is to the current political reality.

7. Asking is not the same as getting.
If he thinks he's going to ram this nomination through in less than four weeks, especially for a YOUNG CHIEF JUSTICE who will determine the course of the courts for perhaps 35+ years hereon, * is wrong. Roberts, even if he were liberal, has not sat a day on the High Court and he'll be in charge?!!! No!!!

Democrats, awaken!!!!

FILLIBUSTER!!! FILLIBUSTER!!!
