Bush's Remarks in New Orleans
Published: September 2, 2005

The following is the transcript of President Bush's remarks on hurricane recovery efforts

<snip>

"Here's what I believe. I believe that the great city of New Orleans will rise again and be a greater city of New Orleans. (Applause.) I believe the town where I used to come from, Houston, Texas, to enjoy myself -- occasionally too much -- (laughter) -- will be that very same town, that it will be a better place to come to. That's what I believe."

1. He's saying they'll rebuild New Orleans so he can go back
and get his drunk on like he did back in the good old days.

Or something like that....

2. He used to trip to the Big Easy from Houston....
...to score some blow and a cheap hooker or two. He's hoping that this tradition will be retained as New Orleans is rebuilt.

around him and he remembers his draft dodging party days. This shows he has no grip on reality.

10. You ought to know better than to try understanding what he says.
It's a lost cause. Give it up.

A catastrophe in progress, and he talks about the wild fun he used to have in Houston in his younger days. Yay!

13. Translation
"Here is what I think will happen. I think that the great city of New Orleans will once again regain it's former splendor. When I was younger and lived in Houston, Texas, I would come here to New Orleans to drink and be merry. Occasionaly, I would drink too much and enjoy a blowjob from a colored man behind a dumpster. I hope that one day in the near future, i'll be able to go back to New Orleans and get liquored up and find a cheap male prostitute, once again. I think that it will be even better than before, with more liquor and cheaper prostitutes. That's what I think will happen."

George W. Bush

14. He's talking about re-building New Orleans as an Oil factory corporation..
So he can go back there every day with Uncle Dickey and get drunk, pass off bar notes and speel with his pals from EXXON Mobil while they suck oil out of the ground.

:grr: :grr: :grr:

He never gave a shit about the community there.

One thing that is crystal clear, is that he always makes everything about him. What an insecure self important little man he is.

20. The way it literally translates.........
is that Houston " will be that very same town, that it will be a better place to come to". Apparently his twisted little mind forgot he was talking about New Orleans, or his pea sized brain couldn't put an understandable sentence together about "what he thought".

Either way, the man is a complete idiot, not fit to manage a 7-11, let alone the United States of America. And this guy is "the communicator in chief"? If there is a god, why won't you PLEASE help us?

22. well it appears he has taken some flack over this:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/print/0,3858,5277736-103681,00.html

<snip>
"As important as the content of the speech was its sombre tone. It was clear the White House realised that making a joke about his young hell-raising days in New Orleans in the course of a flying visit to the flooded city on Friday, was a mistake that reinforced allegations he had failed to take the disaster seriously enough."
