Hurricane season not over until November-what if????
What if another storm or two of this magnitude were to hit a populated area this season. Our government can't seem to get anything right for just one storm- we are doomed if another one hits.

2. Heard Chertoff on MTP actuallyusing that as a rallying cry about why we
why we can't dwell on what has happened. He's looking forward, see. Big point here is that everyone needs to understand that big brother is only gonna sit and watch these things. Stock up your own water and canned goods people. We are all on our own.

3. Since it's not an election year
I think the answer is, whoever gets hit would be just as SOL as the people in LA, MS and AL.

If it does happen and one looks like it's coming your way, make DAMN sure you are prepared for 2 weeks on your own.

4. You mean like this?
This is one of the current "areas of investigation" that could turn into a tropical storm or hurricane.
