It is over, Bush is now walking to his helio.

Since the WH didn't even plan to see her today, I bet that meeting was interesting. Hmmmm.

Hopefully, our mole will talk.:-)

1. Did she punch him?

She said if he blamed the local government one more time she would punch him.

I wonder what the disastrous result will be.

I sincerely hope that Witt was in attendence.

5. Reporter says this is interesting because Blanco didn't even know
Bush was coming in the first place. Reporter repeating the federalization thing.

18. The info of the reporter seemed to come from the governor's office itself.
It seems to pass the smell test.

14. I'm sure he is saying - do what I want or I will let more people die
and the people from NO get screwed over in the aftermath instead of doing everything we can to help them.

In the past, I may have thought that was over the top, now I think that is giving him the benefit of the doubt. He is a monster.

15. Hold your ground Blanco
Don't let the feds take over NOLA. The state and local government have the best handle on how to take care of this problem. The feds should be there only in a support capacity -- provide the money and resources to get the job done.

25. I didn't know Shrub could pay attention that long.
A 90 minute meeting is "hard work." He probably needed a nap afterwards.

26. No, Bush prefers vacations.
I'm sure he's flying immediately after the meeting to his ranch in Crawford for a much needed month-long vacation.
