Cutting of Phone, TV and Internet Lines: Please post reports 9/5/05

I think we should start a central place where everyone can put their reports of FEMA and the Feds cutting Phone, TV and Internet lines. THAT'S TERRIBLE.

I think I read a phone needs 90 volts to even ring and I think cable and the internet definitely need power, as well as computers and televisions need power?

4. FEMA and the Feds are cutting something

I hear the Jefferson Parish president had to put armed guards in order to fend off the feds from cutting the lines.

Big, huge batteries. That's why phones can work when nothing else does.
