If the shoe were on the other foot...?

And a Democrat was in the White House and this disaster happened and there was such incompetence on display? What would Trent Lott be saying? What would Haley Barbour be saying? What would Orrin Hatch be saying? What would almost every Repub be saying about the Democrats? Would they be calling for impeachment? Who would they be blaming? The Governors or the White House? What do you think?

if a Democrat was in the White House and the disaster was handled this way, I would be angry. I would turn against any president who was so nonchalant as the crisis unfolded and let so many people live in such condition for days with no relief, when there was no reason for it.

Whatever his party, he would not be my president.

Laden.. they HATED him for doing anything about the genocide in Kosovo.. they mocked him and accused him of "wagging the dog" while he ordered the military to keep hussein in line...

the repukes think they and they alone own the miitary. that's it, plain and simple.
