My church gave 50,000 DIRECTLY to the relief effort
They made sure it went to help those at the Astrodome and other shelters. Anyone donating should find a place that makes sure their donation will actually benefit the victims.

4. Awesome! If your church is looking for something it can give non-moneywise
The United Methodist Committee on Relief has sent out an emergency appeal for "health buckets" ...disease is going to be the next huge challenge.
