floating, bloated body in the water in the lower 9th ward.

Horrific. I can't believe we're seeing this.

people aren't getting how horrific it is.
I can't believe it is being shown myself. It's been on BBC news for days.

I can't believe the US govt is so remiss in its duties to its citizens that the presence of dead bodies in NOLA is apparently somewhat common.

i missed the beginning segment of some police official saying the whole city had been destroyed (who was that, and was it NO he was referring to ?)

I was a crime/emergency service reporter for 12 years. I know this doesn't bother me and I'm sorry it bothers others.

However, in every other country in the world, this shit IS reported and shown. It's real. It happens. And, it's the fucking truth.

The only thing I can't believe is not that we're seeing this, but that we haven't seen it sooner.

No offense, Liz. I am just disgusted by lackadaisical Americans - and I'm not only American, I'm also Southern.

There were several that featured dead bodies --

These images are important for people to see -- for the reason we can all probably list -- since I'm speaking to the choir here!
