Can we NOW discuss the "state's rights" issue?
For a miniute drop the racist tinge and think about something. If the states had a litte more power from the federal govt. this crap with the LA national guard wouldn't be such a problem. I realize that it could also be a bad thing in relation to federal response to the disaster; but I do think this should be discussed. Give me your arguments for/against; educate me here.

1. From the way this past week was played out...
it doesn't look like the feds are good for much more than killing people.
