How did Blanco's staff NOT know about the Monday visit?

How did Blanco's staff NOT know about the Monday visit?

WE knew it for at least a few days, as did other sites.. You would think that someone on her staff would be peeking at papers from time to time, even though they are busy..

She should have waited an ;acceptable" time and then gone on tv and announced that he was trying to sneak back in without her knowledge:)

2. That was, actually, how she did eventually find out, a staff member
heard or saw something about the Pres coming, phoned Andrew Card to confirm and then contacted the Governor. The big question is: Why did the White House not formally inform the Governor of his visit and invite her to participate as protocol would dictate?

5. According to some links I've seen here
Governors office inquired Sunday night and white house said "no plan".
I think that's gonna be their respone to everything now.

No, she was not informed, and when they were together they (as they described it) acted like arguing in-laws. She stayed her distance from him by at least 6 feet...
