The Bush family reminds me of Thursten and Lovey Howell

They are so entitled that they are completely out of touch with the life of the average middle class person, no less the poor.

Remember Poppy Bush didn't know what optical scanners at supermarkets were? At least that wasn't dangerous.

Now we have Junior, standing in front of the homeless and dying of New Orleans--and in front of the millions of people watching them suffer and die on TV--JOKING about how he had "a little too much fun" in New Orleans as a young man. Junior--offering to rebuilt Trent Lott's house when visiting the Mississipi locales of Biloxi and Gulfport that were decimated under Katrina.

On top of this, we now have Barbara Bush saying that the NOLA refugees are "better off" because they are going to Houston.

"What I’m hearing is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality.

"And so many of the people in the arena here, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this--this is working very well for them."

"...this is working very well for them." I'd like to smack her ugly, smug face. I wouldn't have a bit of sympathy if something dreadful happened to her & her "beautiful mind" in fact I wish it. I'm sure some will say that makes me as bad as she is. So be it.
