Is Cheney still missing? What's the word? I've been w/o computer access
and with no search function now I'm wondering as everyone else is on the American stage, when is the last time Cheney was seen? Has any official word been offered for his invisibility? It's weird.

2. Cheney is not in demand when compassion is called for.
As bad at compassion as GWB is, he is still light years ahead of the Vice-President. Mr. Cheney cannot credibly console canyone who is grieving, therefore, he is not in front of the cameras. His cultivated persona, that of the mean old man who scares children out of his yard, would not play well to the national psyche right now.

:grr: I guess he'll be palling around with Hehr-ball-ich now.

The good news is it's on MD's eastern shore; which has seen a lot more hurricane activity the last few years.
