We are talking about PEOPLE'S LIVES!!

That excuse is ok for certain things, but not this national disaster.

4. There are a few exceptions

Maxine Walters, Dennis Kuchinich, Russ Feingold, maybe a few more. But for the most part they are AWOL.

At least they are getting money, relief, supplies, shelters,etc. You don't really think it's the republicans doing it, do you. I'm proud of a lot of them - they can talk till hell freezes over but they are in action. Just like Iraq is full of Democratic soldiers & military while the repukes sit home and bitch about unpatriotic Democrats.

Their job is not to satisfy people sitting in front of computers bitching that they are not mean enough to Bush...they are doing what they can to help...they are working hard to get relief there.

Many of them have been down there on their own dime rescueing people and others have drawn up requests to help and will present it tomorrow. Look at Raw Story's site. And by the way Al Gore made several trips in a chartered plane and got out more than 140 people...
